Bunnie House

All of our starter kits are only available upon the purchase of a rabbit from Bunnie House and require a minimum of 14 days notice before collection.  Although we have added 'but-it-now' buttons for your convenience, we prefer you to visit the rabbitry to see your chosen bunny before any monies are paid.  We advise all potential pet owners to satisfy themselves of the condition of the rabbits, the condition of the parents, the cleanliness of the rabbitry, the knowledge of the breeder and the honesty of the breeder before choosing a rabbit. 

If you have already done this and are now ready to reserve your rabbit and your starter package, you may use our internet facility but please do ensure we know who you are and what rabbit it is for otherwise your money may be refunded and your chosen rabbit will not be reserved.

A basic package to get you started with your new rabbit for an all inclusive price of £

This starter set includes:

Mini Lop Rabbit - Your chosen Mini Lop Kit bred by Bunnie House!  All our normal sales provisions including Free Health Check, Birth Certificate, Pedigree Certificate, Care Sheet and  Free 6 Month Health Check.

 3kgs A&P Pellets - We advise that you do not change your kits diet until he/she is at least 12 weeks old which allows time for the digestive system to mature, & for your kit to settle in a new home & recover from the stress of moving before the need to adjust to a new food.  An adult Mini Lop requires 100g of pellet a day therefore 3kgs as supplied will last 4 - 6 weeks. 

Water Bottle - 320ml Classic Bunny Water Bottle complete with holder to attach to cage door. 

Food Bowl - 0.5 Lt Ceramic Bowl, just an ideal size for your Mini Lop.  Being ceramic your rabbit will not be able to tip this bowl over and spill food all in the hutch so there is no wastage. 

Hay  - 1.9 kgs Mayfield Compressed Hay in a convenient carry pack.

Bedding - 4kgs Mayfield Compressed Shavings and 1.5kgs Mayfield Compressed Straw, both in convenient carry packs.

Both Mini Lop Packages can be purchased with a hand made rabbit run to allow your rabbit to exercise safely.  The Mini Lop Rabbit Run is 4' x 3' x 2'  and hand built by a local hutch-maker at a special price for Bunnie House.  Run can be supplied fully assesmbled ready to use or flat packed, and comes with all the normal aftercare service usually provided by the hutch-maker.  Included with this run is a small shelter 18" x 18" x 18" for your rabbit to run through, sit on or sit under.  This run is available for only £ when purchased with a Mini Lop Starter Package.

2 Water Bottles - 2 x 600ml Classic Bunny Water Bottle complete with holder to attach to cage door.  We advise that you always have 2 bottles for your rabbit so that you can give additional fluids as and when needed (carrot juice, tomato juice, apple juice) but also rabbit water bottles have a habit of breaking if they are dropped, or fall off the cage and they are not easy to replace in the middle of the night! To save your rabbit not having any fluids at all it is a good idea to have the second bottle so you have a spare! 

Food Bowl - 1 Lt Ceramic Bowl, just an ideal size for your Mini Lop.  Being ceramic your rabbit will not be able to tip this bowl over and spill food all in the hutch so there is no wastage.

Hay  - 2.5kgs Comfey Meadow Hay in a convenient carry pack.

 Probiotic - 4 x 2g Bio Lapis sachets to mix in your rabbits water.  A probiotic will help to settle your rabbit after the journey to a new home.
