Health Check Revision - 10th May 2010

As ever we strive to bring our clients and our rabbits the very best service we can possibly give.  We are aware that during our consultations with our clients we give them a lot of information which is often forgotten due to the overload.  Therefore we have devised a new health check procedure which gives the client a record of what has been checked and when and gives them a booklet to keep track of their health checks.  We are currently awaiting delivery of the new booklets from the printers but they will be with us very soon and the new procedure implemented as soon as they arrive!

Free Insurance -5th May 2010

We are currently researching various companies to bring you the best deal in rabbit insurance.  We are fairly confident that following various checks we will be authorised to give you 4 weeks free insurance when you adopt one of our bunnies.

Keep watching for further details.

Proud to be Supporting . . .

By Appointment Only . . . .

Visit us during Rabbit Awareness Week and we will show you how to correctly handle your rabbit.  We will give you hints and tips on grooming, husbandry and healthcare and will only be too happy to discuss any concerns you may have. Plus any products ordered from us during RAW will qualify for a 10% discount.

Staff Training in Pet Stores - 25th April 2010

We are currently in negotiations with a pet superstore chain to assist them with their staff training and to run rabbit awareness evenings.  We are absolutely thrilled that we will be able to make a difference to the pet industry in this way.

We hope to bring you further details soon.

Hutches in Stock - 9th April 2010

So we have searched and searched to find the right hutchmaker to bring you the best value deal but it seems there is no-one who is reliable enough, works to a high enough standard or that can bring in the right price.  Therefore we have changed our tack and instead of being able to offer you a hutch made to order we now have hutches in stock for you to inspect and take away with you.  Prices start at just £50 for a 4' hutch. See our Housing & Runs page and our Starter Kits page to see what offers we have at the moment!

New Arrivals - 7th April 2010

A quick dash this time to pick up some of the kits we have been reserving.  We nipped to Kent to see some friends and as always ended up reserving even more bunnies for future trips!

Another debt of thanks to Stirling Stud and Star Stud Mini Lops!

New Arrivals - 13th March 2010

A long long day visting many many bunnies. We started our day in Buckinghamshire and ended our day in Kent but 11 bunnies later, and 3 more reserved and we finally made it home.  There were some surprises for us along the way, most of which were pleasant and will be starting more new lines within our rabbitry.

Thanks to Stirling Stud and Star Stud Mini Lops for our new lines . . .

Hutches Arrive - 5th April 2010

Another block of hutches has made its way to us.  This stack comprises 4 x 4' hutches and 2 x 3' hutches so that we can have a grooming table in our bucks shed.  We are still waiting on the 2 x 4' stacks which will add another 8 hutches to the other side of this shed.

Thanks to John Bourne Bunnies for making these for us.

Donations with Corbiere - 4th March 2010

As Sam at Littlehampton Lops was moving she kindly donated all her remaining bunny paraphenalia to us.  This included bottles, bowls, toys, chalking powders, a bale of hay, a wire run, and electronic baby scales.  The 4X4 was full to the brim.

Thankyou Sam for your generosity - we appreciate all the help we are given so that we may continue to offer rehome services to all the bunnies in need.

Littlehampton Lops - 4th March 2010

This is a very mixed notice for us. Last week Sam at Littlehampton Lops contacted us and asked for our help. Sadly Sam was no longer able to keep her baby - Corbiere and asked if we could take him on. But Corbiere is no ordinary rabbit - he is a fully fledged, massive, spoilt rotten, house rabbit.  Being that we have 2 dogs this was a serious decision but not wanting to abandon a fellow breeder and a rabbit in their time of need we agreed.  It was a very upsetting day when we collected him, but he is here with us now and will stay here until something along the lines of 'The Ritz' presents itself!

We are flattered that Sam trusts us enough to look after and find a suitable home for her baby - Thankyou Sam for your faith in us!

Website Overhaul - 1st March 2010

We are in the middle of a major website overhaul at the moment.  Some of the pages on the website may not be visible to you whilst we complete this as we are trying to make navigation easier for you which involves moving pages around.  You may also find that some pages are difficult to read where the writing has not yet changed it colouring.  This is due to new backgrounds and new layouts.

Please bear with us we are working extremely hard to update the overall site as well as the information contained within it.

Thankyou for your patience.

New Arrivals - 22nd February 2010

We are very excited to be bringing you news of 11 new arrivals over the next month or so.  Only one of these is a French Lop making the remaining 10 kits all Mini Lops which is a fantastic boost to our breeding stock although they wont be ready until the end of this season.  With the new kits we are excited to be bringing in some new colours as well.  Look at the Mini Lops pages to see the new colours.

Bunnie House is back! - 1st February 2010

Many of you have text us, emailed us and phoned us asking why we haven't been updating the website, why we haven't been at shows, why we haven't been advertising etc etc etc.  Thankyou so much for all your support and concerns.

The owners of Bunnie House also own a Dance Company which in the latter part of 2009 suddenly became very successful.  This was a huge strain on our time and resources, but to maintain its success required that we meet its demands.

There is also the matter of a certain group of breeders who are intent on making our lives as miserable as possible, picking on the children of the family and slandering us, and for something that is a hobby it's really not worth the time and effort! We have come to the conclusion that these people are just sad and have no lives!

Finally, certain members of the family have suffered with various health issues which became a priority.

However - through it all we have maintained our bunnies, and given them all the love and attention which they deserve.  Thankfully through our waiting lists and those who remain in contact with us constantly we have been able to rehome all our kits without needing to advertise.

We are now back in breeding season and although we will have the same demands made on us through our Dance Company, we now have the resources in place to be able to split our time again.

So for all those that follow us and wait on our news and our kits - Bunnie House is back! Renovations are still going on, and new bunnies are joining us all the time so keep watching!!

Chocolates Arrive - 14th December 2009

Our breeding pair of Chocolate Self French Lops from Lancashire French Lops has now arrived and we couldn't be happier.  Basil and Lottie are very welcome additions to our family and just what was needed after the last couple of hard months.

Blue Eyed Whites - 29th October 2009

Thanks to our friend Emma at Sunspring Rabbits we have now got our breeding pair of BEW's.  The doe is still a baby at just 8 weeks old but the buck is a little older being 5 months old so there is still a little while to wait until our first litter.  We are so excited at this new project!!

Chocolates - 26th October 2009

Our exciting news is that we have now put deposits down on our Chocolate French Lops.  We are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of a breeding pair of Chocolate Self French Lops from Lancashire French Lops.

Beach Hut Donated - 11th October 2009

Another hut has been donated to Bunnie House as a Thank-You.

It is ideal for rabbits to hide in and shelter in whilst running around the garden.  The door allows us to close it at night and means we have a temporary hutch whilst cleaning out.

Website Overhaul - 10th October 2009

Regular visitors to our site may notice that we are in the middle of a major overhaul of our site.  The information contained within it has not been updated for a while and we are constantly being asked to put more on from our customers and followers, so we are going through page by page and checking the information is all current and accurate.

Please bear with us whilst we complete this task.  Thankyou!

UPDATE - so much has happened and so many things are going on that this had to be put on hold.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

BEW - 8th October 2009

We have just had news that the first of our BEW's is growing up nicely and is waiting to join us in just over 3 weeks!

More news as soon as we hear it!!

Renovations - 7th October 2009

After a really busy few months we have decided that we are never going to have time to strip the sheds out and renovate so why not just jump in and do it anyway!! So we have now stripped the shed back to the basics and started painting it to get it all cleaned up for winter.  Keep up with our progress on Our Setup page.  What will we do next to improve the rabbits living conditions???

Beach Hut Arrives - 3rd October 2009

More of our 'garden furniture' has arrived.

This is the first of our Beach Huts which will be placed around the garden for the rabbits to hide in and shelter in.  The door allows us to close it at night and means we have a temporary hutch whilst cleaning out.

Lies, Lies and More Lies - 30th September 2009

Lies, Lies and More Lies was the title of an email we received this morning.  It seems that certain people would like to think their malicious ramblings are having an effect on us.  Thankfully the sender of the email was put straight and given enough evidence to show that her 'information' was wrong, but this is not the first time this has happened.  A pattern has now been occuring seeming that everytime our rabbits are successful or our Dance Company has a successful event, those same breeders who remain jealous feel the need to try and cause trouble.

Bunnie House has nothing to defend, and anyone who says otherwise is trying to hide something! Our advice is to look deeper!

As for those that are determined to try to bring us down, we are highly amused by your antics.  The situation is made even more pathetic by the fact that the children of the family are following ALL of our websites and trying to talk to us on facebook and MSN!

UPDATE - this family continue to follow us although the abuse appears to have abated.  Children of this family are trying to befriend us again but all attempts are being ignored!

Championship Certificate - 18th September 2009

Benson has also now received his Championship Certificate from the British Rabbit Council.  Benson has worked hard and spent many hours posing for the judges to earn this award so we are really thrilled he has been recognised as a champion.

Silver Star Diploma - 18th September 2009

Benson has finally received his dues and has now been awarded his Silver Star Diploma from the British Rabbit Council.  We are extremely pleased to receive this and believe it to show him to be the superstar we always knew he was.

Here he is showing us what he thinks of the award!

New Hutches - 6th September 2009

John at Bourne Bunnies has done us proud yet again and delivered another breeder block for our new and revamped garden!  Again made to our specifications - the bottom two hutches being 6' x 2' x 2' for French Lops and the top hutch being 6' x 18" x 18" for Mini Lops.

More hutches to follow - we can't wait!

Garden Upheaval - 4th September 2009

As you will know if you have been following the site, we have been making plans to give the garden a big upheaval to make it more rabbit friendly.  With the deliveries of the new hutches and the new runs we have now finalised our plans.  Keep up to date with whats happening on Our Setup page.

Sallandy Lops Update - 1st September 2009

We are constantly asked for updates of the situation with Sallandy Lops.  We are still not in a position to say too much but can tell you that it is still ongoing.  Despite being warned not to abuse us, Sallandy Lops have again written nonsense on our guest book thus we have temporarily closed the guestbook down.  We are currently gathering further evidence for this case.

Thanks to all our supporters, your faith gives us strength!

New Hutches - 16th August 2009

The first of our new hutches have arrived and we are really really pleased with them! This block was made to our specification - the bottom two hutches being 6' x 2' x 2' for French Lops and the top hutch being 6' x 18" x 18" for Mini Lops.  We are very grateful to John at Bourne Bunnies for making these for us and at such low cost!

We have another one of these blocks on order as well as several other blocks so are really excited to see them arriving now!

Apologies - 13th August 2009

Bognor Carnival Team! - As Before!!!!

Bunnie House has not been keeping up to date and apologises for any inconsistencies within the website.  This is partly due to the upset caused by certain breeders (see notice below) but also due to the successes within our Dance Company of late which has left us with very limited time.

Thanks to all our followers for their understanding.  We are trying extremely hard to rectify the situation at present and will be updating the site page by page.  This may take us a little longer than usual as we will be revising links as well as doing our normal monthly weight & health checks on the buns.  Please bear with us and we will be finished as soon as we can!

 The Dragonflies

Temporary Absence From Shows - 8th August 2009

Bunnie House has been absent from rabbit shows for the past 2 months due to attending performances for our Dance Company.  Unfortunately as the success of the Dance Company grows it does mean we will be unable to attend as many rabbit shows as we have done in the past.  Our apologies to those who have missed us recently.

The Dragonflies       Jess, Candi, Cally & Chloe at the back with Lizzie, Demi, Lucie, Shauna, Shannon & Abbie at the front. Spot the Mascot Bear!

Run Arrives - 2nd August 2009

Our second run arrived today to start putting our plans into action to renovate the garden for all the bunnies. It measures 7ft x 5ft and 24" tall, same as the original run that was donated to us.  We think our French Lops will be very happy in there for a little afternoon sunshine!

Bunnie House Has Its Say! - 2nd August 2009

Bunnie House has been the subject of much gossip over the last few years, in fact there is a whole catergory about us on a recenlty launched forum group which we have managed to infiltrate.  We are pretty disgusted at the actions of breeders who are supposed to be responsible adults and even more appalled that these so called breeders have to hide behind pseudo names and scrawl abuse on guest books.  Bunnie House now feel it is time that the nature of this gossip was broadcast!

So why have Bunnie House been slandered???

* because a breeder was breeding inbreds and we informed local authority as well as the breeders those kits were sold to.  All of those kits subsequently died!!!

* because a breeder had a doe who was due to kindle and she was just 5 months old and we were part of the investigation.

* because our show winning buck was bought in and not bred by us, and he wins at every single show he goes to.

* because one of our show bucks presented with an allergy to wood shavings at a show and we withdrew him from show.

* because we refuse to put bleach and whitening products on our rabbits, and let them play on the grass all of which is apparenty not acceptable for any rabbit that enters a show!

* because of a personal argument with another breeder which then meant we received all the complaints about them & were asked to rehome the bunnies they had sold.

* because another breeder took our rabbits without paying for them and we reported them to the police!

In actual fact the abuse we receive is either from breeders who do not look after their rabbits properly or from breeders who are jealous of us! It is a sad fact that there is a high number of breeders who show their rabbits who do not care for their rabbits properly.  We are aware of the breeders who keep their rabbits in 3 ft hutches, who do not allow them to play on grass for fear of dirty feet, who only ever exchange their rabbits from the side of the road, who breed litter mates to get that elusive show winner, who heat their sheds to get more kits in a litter, who breed their does back to back to get more kits and we are proud NOT to be associated with them!

We have refrained from naming and shaming such breeders on our website as we do not need to sink to their levels but we do know they follow our site as we have tracked their comments and their IP addresses.  Just further proof of their jealousy and insecurities.

The bullying tactics which have been employed are picking on young children who are just entering the show world, how sad is it that these people are so jealous of young children and their rabbits that they need to try to intimidate them so that they do not show at the same shows.  In our opinion a win under those circumstances is a hollow victory!

Bunnie House is a family orientated stud, who strongly believes in the rights of the animal. Our rabbits will be treated with the love and care and respect they deserve! We have made friends with many many breeders over the years who have advised us of the bitchiness in the show world which has caused their retirement although they still breed to standard.  Breeders of 20 years + standing advise us of the same group of breeders who have been the subject of such bad behaviour since they began.  It is our very many friends and followers within the rabbit world that keeps us enthused - and for that we are grateful.  Perhaps those who decide to degrade Bunnie House should look very closely at themsleves!

Run Donated - 25th July 2009

This run was kindly donated to us today!

It was a surprise present left in our front garden measuring 7ft x 5ft and 24" tall.  What a fantastic surprise!

New Arrivals - 18th July 2009

Another long journey to Lancashire!  An extremely warm reception awaited us!  We are constantly asked why we travel to Lancashire for our buns - in our experience there are very few breeders in the South of England who are producing the high quality of rabbits we want for our breeding stock and are who are happy to help with breeding projects.  We have also found that the breeders are much friendlier up north and try their best to help each other out.

Our Thanks go to Ann & David at The Rabbit World & Lori from Rubys's Lops for not only some adorable rabbits but also for a warm welcome and a lovely afternoon with you all and your rabbits!

New Arrivals - 14th July 2009

Another long journey but to Kent this time to see an old breeder friend, Stirling Stud who helped us in the early days.  As always we went out for one rabbit and came back with five but what a beautiful five they are.  In amongst them is a little Black Butterfly Buck from some outstanding pedigree lines, bought for a certain member of the family who still deeply misses Max!

Really excited about breeding these rabbits for the sheer quality.

Bunnie House Stock from Sallandy Lops - 13th July

Whilst away over the weekend a breeder friend informed us that Salandy Lops have advertised all their stock and are closing down.  Although this is no surprise to us there are certain rabbits within their stock that do not belong to them, although this is in the minority as a lot of thier stock did not come from us, please do contact us if you have bought stock over the last week.

BRC and the Police are currently making enquiries.

Sallandy Lops Complaints - 8th July 2009

As news has spread that we are no longer associated with Sallandy Lops so does the amount of complaints about their rabbits that we are receiving.  Whilst we are very sympathetic and will try to help where possible we ask that you please address your complaints directly to Sallandy Lops.

We are now aware of 4 breeders who have bought the Blue Eyed Whites that are very unhappy with them in terms of size and temperament.  We have also been made aware of a similar situation with Chocolate Otters.  Some of these breeders have been able to rehome the rabbits themselves whilst we are trying to assist others in rehoming these rabbits on our rehoming page.

Our apologies to anyone who has been unfortunate in their rabbit exchanges with Sallandy Lops, and who was referred by us.

Starter Packages - 6th July 2009

As always we strive to bring you the best possible service and to ensure that all rabbits that leave us will be properly cared for.  That's why we are so excited to bring you news of our latest venture.  We are currently working on several partnerships with wholesalers and suppliers to bring you starter packages!

It may be a few more days before the arrangements are finalised but keep checking our Starter Kits page to see what fantastic deals we have for you!

New BEW Lines - 4th July 2009

Following our sucess with our established lines, and at the request of a certain member of the family, we are pleased to announce we are now launching into breeding Blue Eyed Whites in Mini Lops.  We have been speaking to some breeder friends who are well established and are in the process of securing some excellent quality stock for our foundations in this colour.

A new page has been added to the site and pictures will follow as soon as the new additions have joined us!

Sallandy Lops - 3rd July 2009

Following several arguments with Salandy Lops of Petersfield, we would like to advise all our customers that we are no longer associated with them.  Those who are exchanging rabbits with them do so at their own risk and not by our recommendation.

Hosting Issues - 26th June 2009

We are currently experienceing difficulies with our host which means we have not been able to upload any photo's for a few days.  We apologise for this and assure you we are doing everything we can to rectify this issue.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

UPDATE - Web hosting report issue solved.  We will attempt to upload tonight!

Heat Crisis - 25th June 2009

Rabbits are very susceptible to heat exhaustion so make sure you are taking precautions.  Give them bottles of cold water to lie against or a bathroom tile to lie on.  Both can be chilled in the fridge for short periods but not in the freezer as this will make them too cold and possibly chill the rabbit.  Change the rabbits water regularly so that there is always fresh cool water on hand, and keep the rabbit out of direct sunlight.  If in a shed ensure there is plenty of ventilation, use a fan if possible.

Remember that rabbits need access to shade and water when out for a run! and if you are collecting bunnies or need to transport them anywhere make sure you do it in the early morning or late evening when it is not so hot!

Benson Does It Again! - 12th June 2009

Benson was a little star again!  At one of the biggest shows of the year - the South of England Show, on the day 244 rabbits attended and our boy won best lop!  We couldn't be more proud of him.  We will have to add up now and see if he is worthy of any of the awards given for the stars now.  Watch this space to see if we apply for any!

New Arrivals Have Arrived - 31st May 2009

Another one of those long journeys to Lancashire to see and our breeder friends up there heralds the arrival of some of our new stock.  Mainly french lop on this journey but what amazing french lops they are!  Again another whole day spent driving but 8 rabbits came back safe and sound.

Thanks Garry for doing all the driving, and thanks to Ann at The Rabbit World, Lori at Ruby's Lops, and Laura at RVRabbits.

Next trip planned at the end of June/beginning of July to collect some more rabbits that weren't quite old enough to travel!

New Orange Lines - 31st May 2009

Due to expanding and Harvey's latest successes we have decided to branch out and increase the colours that we are breeding to include Orange Mini Lops.  We are currently on the lookout for an Orange Mini Lop Doe of good quality to welcome into our family and are very excited about our new line.

Retail Outlet

We are fortunate enough to have just obtained autorisation from Snugglesafe to be a retailer of their products to help raise funds for the bunnies.  We will be bringing you the range of their products at the RRP but we will be able to offer a discount to our customers who are rehoming or adopting bunnies.

Watch out for the Rabbit Extra's page coming soon.

We are still looking into becoming authorised retailers for other merchandise so remember to keep checking back!

Best Of Breed at Champs - 3rd May 2009

Benson is such a star!  For the first time ever we entered champs, and with 4 rabbits entered, only 1 was in coat on the day so we left the others at home! Benson though - ever the show rabbit wasn't going to miss his chance at being in the spotlight and was sitting proud. Judge Maureen Embry spent a long time deliberating between Benson and an Opal Mini Lop but decided the Benson just had the edge!

Well Done Benson!

New Stock Arriving Soon - 30/04/09

Following the sad demise of Kendra we have decided that we need to define our lines in our French Lops.  Although we haven't yet settled on any colours, we are very fortunate in that some breeder friends with excellent reputations are able to help us with some new stock.  We are very excited now and just can't wait for them all to join us.

Our Thanks to Lori at Ruby's Lops

Sad News - 8/03/09

Sallandy Lops are hitting hard times at the moment and have had to make the sad decision to downsize.  First to leave them is their frenchies.  Thanks to some of our friends and clients we hope that we will be able to help them out until they are back on their feet.  Meanwhile Sallandy were good enough to let us take a couple of breeder blocks from them which has given us a few more hutches to be getting on with.

More New Arrivals - 24/02/09

Breeding season is almost with us again!  Those of you who have followed us through the winter months will have noticed that we have moved on several of our stock to better our lines.  We are very excited at the new arrivals that have just joined us from Radnor Stud, and the new arrivals due to join us over the next few weeks.  Some of the best breeders in the country have been kind enough to pass excellent quality rabbits to us.  We only hope we can justify this by producing some real stunners with them.

New arrivals are being featured as soon as we have details of them - look on the rabbit pages.

Record Stats Achieved - 22/02/09

A quick note to all of our loyal supporters and customers.  Most of you have recommened us to your friends and relatives, and our customer base has trebled.  We are being visited by people all over the globe, and have been honoured by asking if we could allow our rabbits to be transported abroad (conditions pending).  On top of all this we have now achieved record number statistics on our website.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Cold Weather - 31/01/09

We are very fortunate in that we managed to keep breeding throughout the worst of the winter months.  Our bunnies were all nice and snug and warm in their shed, bottles were insulated, and we even took turns to check on them throughout the night on some of the very very cold nights when temperatures dropped below zero.  Thankfully we lost no rabbits, adults or babies due to the cold.  Our sympathies are with those of you we know who struggled.

New Look Website - 31/12/08

As the old year leaves us so does the outdated look for the website.  Much more information has now been added and the whole site has been given a revamp.  Please let us know your opinions!

Web Ring - 2/12/08

We have now set up the web ring for breeders who we know look after their animals and who breed responsibly.  Some invites have already been sent out - others are on their way!

Apologies - 22/10/08

Bunnie House has not been keeping up to date and apologises for any inconsistencies within the website.  This is due to the bereavement of a dearly loved family pet which has caused considerable upset within the house.

Bunnie House Goes Part Time Temporarily - 10/10/08

Due to family circumstances of late Bunnie House has had to move to part time hours rather than the twenty-four hours a day variety.  We will still be available for our customers, and will  continue to give all our bunnies all the love and care they deserve but this change does mean that there may now be a slight delay in answering emails and updating the website.

Thankyou for your understanding!

New Arrivals Have Arrived! - 6/10/08

After what must have been a never ending journey our new arrivals are here.  We left at six in the morning arriving in Lancashire at 11.30 am, where we collected bunnies from The Rabbit World and completed the 1st leg of the journey.  From there we went to Rhyl arriving at 2.30pm, where we collected more bunnies from Seaside Lops and completed the 2nd leg of the journey.  Homeward bound found lots of traffic in Birmingham with the journey ending at 9pm.  Some bunnies travelled better than others but they all made it home safe & sound.

Thanks to Garry who done the trip!

New Arrivals

We are very excited at the moment after having a little spending spree and have lots of new rabbits coming in bringing fresh blood into our lines.  In amongst all the new rabbits will be the start of our smokes and sables!

Our Thanks go to Ann at The Rabbit World for all the help and advice given not to mention the rabbits!

French Lines - 27/07/08

We will never be any great breeder's of French, preferring to specialise in Mini's instead but as rabbit lovers our house would not be complete without a french or two running around.  We now have a buck and a doe from Maytree Giants with another doe on the way.  For our final doe we are on a waiting list so look out for our first litter of French!

Defining Lines - 27/07/08

You will see from the new pages on the website that we have started defining our lines. We now have seperate sections for seperate colours, the chocolates, the blues, the blacks, the smoke and sables and the butterflies.  Somewhere along the way a few stragglers have crept in that we can't bear to part with so they will remain with us as well - but it's looking good.

Rabbitry Almost There - 27/07/08

The structure is complete!  Painting and felting still needed but we have walls, roof & doors!  Mosquito netting is up to protect against the flies and matting is up to cover the vents when it really pours down.  It is looking good.  We have ordered the remaining hutches to fill the rabbitry and are waiting for their delivery now.  Not much longer!

Selling Old Hutches - 7/07/08

The new rabbitry is half done and we are starting to move the bunnies.  All of our bunnies will have new hutches so all of our old ones will be going up for sale with some being given away.  If you are interested you will need to keep an eye on the Second Hand Hutches Page that has been temporarily added to the website.

Bedding Supplies - 21/06/08

We are now able to offer recommended beddings to our customers.  Megazorb, Dice-a-bed and Eco-bed will all be available to collect from us at the same time as rabbits and hutches are being collected. We do not plan on offering this service on its own but purely as an extra to our customers buying rabbits or hutches etc.

Prices and online ordering will be available on the website very very soon!

UPDATE - Products now available on the Feed & Bedding Bales page.

Guinea Pigs - 21/06/08

We have sadly made the decision not to keep Guinea Pigs any more.  The rabbits keep us so busy that we really need to concentrate on them.  Therefore all the Guinea Pigs on our website are now for rehoming. Some are pregnant and need to wait until after they have had their babies and some are raising their young and need to wait until they are safely grown.  In both cases we will take a deposit and reserve them for people who are interested.

We will continue to offer a rescue and rehome service for those in need.

Boarding Price Increase - 07/06/08

In line with all our other price increases it will be necessary to put up the price of boarding as well.  We will now be charging £3.50 per rabbit per day inclusive of check in and check out day.  As normal, we will still be asking for owners to supply their own rabbit food so that we do not alter the rabbits diet but we will of course provide fresh food & bedding as required.  Discounts for rabbits sharing cages will still apply.

Check our terms and conditions on the Boarding page.

Bunnie Influx Update - 20/05/08

Absolutely brilliant news - we have managed to rehome almost all of the bunnies that came to us in the Influx two weeks ago. What a wonderful job well done!

Thanks to everyone that helped!

Price Increase! 18/05/08

Rabbit food prices have just gone up yet again for the 4th time this year.  Due to this we are putting our prices up slightly.  This is the first time we have increased our prices in over 2 years, and means we are still able to offer a good value for money service!

Price Increase will take immediate effect.

Bunnie Influx Now Arrived! 8/5/08

All those bunnies we've been talking about are here!  There are 16 in total but one will be staying with us.  Please look at them and contact us if you can offer one of them a home!

Mini Lop Influx! 7/05/08

We have just been given news that an influx of Mini Lops is coming our way tomorrow.  To our knowledge there are no kits, but they will be approx 5/6 months of age possibly some up to a year old.  We are expecting a variety of colours, and both sexes.  None have been neutered and there is some who are already in pairs.  There are no known health conditions with these rabbits, they are excess stock from a showing breeder who can no longer keep them.  We are expecting around 13 rabbits, possibly more.

Hutch Deal Made! 06/05/08

The deal is now done with the hutch maker.  Final agreed prices are £35 for the 4ft hutch, £55 for the two tiered 4ft hutch, and a 4ft x 3ft run will be £30.  Orders need to be made when purchasing your rabbits, and hutches will be available for you when you collect your rabbit.  Please remember that you will need a large vehicle to take your hutch and run home in.  We hope to have photo's and payment terms on the website very very soon.

UPDATE - Unfortunately the hutchmaker became unreliable so we terminated the contract! We will source another hutchmaker as soon as possible.  Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
